What is the WMF Profi Plus range?

WMF Profi Plus is a coordinated collection of kitchen tools made for demanding everyday use. It covers whisks, lifters, ladles, skimmers, scrapers, sieves and more, so you can build a matching set that looks as good on display as it works on the cooktop. See the full Profi Plus range.

What are Profi Plus tools made from?

They’re made from Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel, WMF’s rust-free, hard-wearing stainless steel. The tools are built to be waterproof, so water can’t get inside the handles. Non-stick versions have heat-resistant synthetic heads, and silicone whisks have silicone-coated wires.

Which tools are safe to use on non-stick pans?

Choose the non-stick versions, such as the Lifter Non-Stick, Soup Ladle Non-Stick and Non-Stick Wok Turner, or a silicone whisk like the Whisk Silicone 25cm. Their heat-resistant heads won’t scratch non-stick or ceramic coatings [CONFIRM HEAT RESISTANCE – WMF lists up to 270°C for the non-stick heads]. The all-stainless steel tools are ideal for uncoated stainless steel and cast iron pans.

Are they dishwasher safe?

Yes. Profi Plus tools are dishwasher safe and rust-free.

How do I store them?

Each tool has an integrated hanging loop, so you can hang your most-used tools on a rail or hook within easy reach. For a countertop option, the Profi Plus Utensil Stand 7-piece keeps a matching set together.

Which tools are in the range?

The range includes balloon whisks from 15cm to 30cm, flexi and silicone whisks, lifters, soup and skimming ladles, wok turners, scrapers, sieves, a garlic press, a cheese plane, an ice cream scoop and a silicone pastry brush, plus whisk sets and a utensil stand.

Which whisk size should I choose?

Smaller whisks (15–20cm) suit dressings, sauces and beating a couple of eggs. Larger whisks (25–30cm) are better for cream, egg whites and batters in big bowls. If you’re whisking in a non-stick pan, choose a silicone whisk to protect the coating. The Whisk Set 3-piece covers most kitchen tasks.

How should I look after them?

Pop them in the dishwasher or wash in hot, soapy water, then dry them to keep the stainless steel looking its best. Avoid steel wool and harsh abrasives, which can scratch the finish.

What does the warranty cover?

Your Profi Plus tools are covered for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal household use for 3 years. The warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, or damage from accidents or misuse. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act also apply.
