What is Rosenthal meets Versace?

Rosenthal meets Versace is the luxury homeware partnership between Italian fashion house Versace and German porcelain maker Rosenthal. It began in 1992 under Gianni Versace, with the first Medusa collection launched in 1993 and Barocco in 1994, and continues today under Donatella Versace. Versace creates the designs, and Rosenthal produces the porcelain in Germany.

What's the difference between Versace Barocco and I Love Baroque?

Barocco is Versace's signature baroque pattern of scrolls, flourishes and symmetrical ornament, first released in 1994. In New Zealand you'll find it in Haze, Rose, Teal and Mosaic colourways, which give the classic motif a softer, contemporary palette. I Love Baroque, including the Bianco range, pairs bold baroque ornament with radiant gold accents for a more opulent look.

Can Versace porcelain go in the microwave or dishwasher?

Many Versace by Rosenthal pieces have gold or metallic decoration, which must never go in the microwave. To protect the gold and colour, we recommend hand washing in warm water with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Care can vary by collection, so always check the instructions supplied with your piece.
